Directions & Worship Times

• Sunday: 8:00 am – Holy Eucharist, Rite I; 10:15 am – Holy Eucharist, Rite II
• First Sunday of Every Month: 7:30 pm -Compline - chanted (with music)
• Third Sunday of Every Month: 5:00 pm - (chancel-informal-come as you are)
• Monday-Friday: 8:00 a.m. - Morning Prayer (chapel)
• Tuesday: 8:00 a.m. - Choral Morning Prayer (chancel)
• Wednesday: 6:00 p.m. - Holy Eucharist, Rite II (chapel).

The Episcopal Church of the Ascension is located at 315 Clanton Avenue in Montgomery, Alabama.

If you are coming into Montgomery on I-65 South or North, you have two options...

• take I-65 to the "Fairview Avenue" Exit. You will travel approximately 1.5 miles to Gilmer Avenue. You turn left on Gilmer and travel 3/4 of a mile. Gilmer ends at our parking lot (turn right on to Clanton).
• take I-65 to I 85 going toward Atlanta.  Once on I-85 take the Court Street exit.  Go down Court Street to South Hull Street.  Take a right.  You will travel down South Hull Street approximately four blocks and the back of the The Episcopal Church of the Ascension is on your right - you may park in the South Hull parking lot and enter Ascension Hall from that lot.

If you are coming into Montgomery on I-85 South, take the "Union Avenue" exit. You take Union Avenue approximately .4 miles to South Hull Street. You turn left on South Hull Street and travel .5 miles. You will see the COA on your right. You may use the parking lot facing South Hull Street, or you may turn right on Clanton Avenue and travel to the front of the church. There is also a parking lot on the front side of the church (corner of South McDonough and Clanton Avenue).
