2008 Eagle Project

You might notice a new fixture in the lower parking lot! The Eagle Scout project of Henry Weatherly Jr. has been in the works for some months, and has finally been finished with the help of Ascension's own Troop 1 and James Walter. Many hours of planning, fundraising and labor have been spent with the goal of having an area for the youth to shoot hoops- and to be able to remove the hoop when not in use. It should be a slam dunk!
